Our Team

Greg Cole, President, MSc. CPHR

Greg started in the human resource industry almost 25 years ago and since then has worked across a broad range of industries and organizations, from startups to national companies, private and public sector, in both unionized and non-unionized environments. His past roles in both Operations and Human Resources Management have given him extensive experience working with business owners in assessing current operational strengths and weaknesses, and implementing solutions designed to improve their People, Processes and Policies.

Greg has held his national certification as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources since 2001 and is a member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of Nova Scotia. He also holds his Masters of Science in Industrial/Organizational (Applied) Psychology from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax.

Greg has maintained a part-time faculty position at Saint Mary’s University in the Department of Psychology since 1995 where he has taught courses in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Training & Development and Social Behaviour. As well, Greg has the privilege of serving as the Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Ward 5 Neighbourhood in Halifax’s north end, a not-for-profit that provides a wide range of programs for seniors and children as well as operates the St. Marks’ Food Bank.

As a Chartered Professional in Human Resources and specialist in operations management Greg focuses on providing customized solutions to Anchor's clients which take into account the overall goals and strategies of the business.Some of Greg's goals pertaining to HR include:

Tanya Toner-Cole, Manager, Financial and Accounting Services

Tanya brings over 20 years of financial and accounting background to Anchor's small business clients. Having spent her career working in a variety of industries her focus has always been on how to best guide companies with an eye to the bottom line.

In working with our clients, Tanya is able to provide analysis of company finances and develop effective operational budgets; manage cash flow and dispersements, provide strategic advice based on projections; and ensure all financial reporting to external auditors and financial insitutions are completed. She is able to administer company benefits programs and oversee payroll functions as required.

Although the rest of the team can't really understand it, Tanya particularly enjoys the challenge of setting up businesses on new accounting systems and ensuring any and all new processes are put in place and rolled out in an effective fashion.
